Scot Huber PhD, TyraTech Director of Research and Discovery, recently attended the Food Assistance for Nutrition Evidence Summit organized by USAID (United States Agency International Development) and Tufts University, June 27-28 in Washington, D.C. The meeting gathered multiple stakeholders to discuss and share work on nutrition in food assistance, which included presentations, panels, roundtable discussions, working sessions, and provided evidence-based recommendations.
TyraTech presented a poster jointly with Mondelēz International (formerly Kraft) on Armor Technology, a specially formulated plant-based essential oil blend that is highly effective in controlling gastrointestinal parasites. These parasites can have a negative impact on the absorption of nutrients. This joint work has provided in-depth insights as TyraTech further develops its technology platform to achieve control of gastrointestinal parasites in production animals.
